During my stay, I found the hotel charming but in need of some updates. The staff were fantastic, always eager to help and very attentive, which made the experience enjoyable. While the rooms were clean and offered a comfortable bed, they felt a bit outdated. The dining options left something to be desired, particularly in terms of breakfast service. Overall, I think the place has potential, but it currently misses the mark for a true boutique experience.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the decor felt a bit dated and the TV was surprisingly small. Air conditioning worked well but was quite loud.

The pub area was cozy, but it was often unmanned and had a strong smell of smoke, which was off-putting.

I had a great experience at the Turnberry Hotel during a networking event. The conference room was spacious and comfortably held around 60-70 people, and the atmosphere was vibrant and energetic. The staff was genuinely helpful and friendly, which added to the enjoyable day. However, I haven't stayed overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms yet. Overall, I’m definitely planning to return based on this fantastic day visit.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The room was spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable environment. The service was a standout, with the staff going out of their way to ensure we had a memorable experience. However, I was a bit disappointed with the dining options and the noise level from other guests at times. The amenities were decent, but a little more attention to details could improve the experience further.

I was really looking forward to my stay at this boutique hotel, but it had its ups and downs. While the rooms were clean and comfortable, I had some issues with the service and dining experience that left me wanting more. The location is great, being centrally located, which definitely made it easier to explore the area. It has potential, but there are clear areas for improvement.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a nice bed and fresh white linen. However, the TV was disappointingly small, and the air conditioner was quite loud, which made it difficult to sleep with it on.
Service

While the staff was very friendly at first, I found that they didn’t check in on us after our initial welcome. Service during breakfast was slow and disorganized, which detracted from the overall experience.
Location

The hotel is perfectly situated in the center of Oudtshoorn, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. This was definitely one of the highlights of my stay.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast had potential but fell flat. The food options were limited, and even though the hot breakfast made by the chef was tasty, it took far too long to get service and a menu.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were basic, with a nice pub that was often unmanned and had a strong cigarette smoke odor, which wasn't pleasant. I didn’t get to enjoy it as much as I hoped.
